Trecan Farm Cottages – The Oaks is a traditional Cornish stone building set within extensive landscaped grounds approached by a tree-lined private drive. Everything is on the ground floor across two ensuite bedrooms: one with a king bed, one with zip-and-link single beds that can be pushed together. The living space includes a woodburner, and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, and a separate utility room housing a washer-dryer.
The cottage comes with its own hot tub for four people and private parking for three cars. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Guests have access to shared facilities across the farm – a tennis court, games room with pool table and table tennis, and an 8-acre grounds with a children's play area. The enclosed garden has seating and a barbecue. The property does not permit smoking. A fenced pond sits within the grounds, and the farm keeps goats, chickens, sheep, ducks, pigs and rabbits.
Looe itself has a sandy beach suitable for families, while Talland Bay lies 5 miles away with coastal paths and rock pools. The site is close to Porfell Animal Land. Arrival is after 15:00 and departure before 10:00.

A perfect stay here at Trecan Farm Cottages. The accommodation was perfect in every way, perfectly clean and spacious. Everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen to fast reliable WiFi, a comfy bed and a nice hot shower. Kirsty is an excellent host, very friendly and kind. She showed our children around the farm and let them hold and feed the small animals and brush the two Shetland ponies. A cream tea waiting for us on arrival, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee in the cupboard. The little farmyard and games room kept the kids entertained all week. The countryside surrounding the cottages is absolutely beautiful in every direction. Very quiet and peaceful. Looe and Polperro are 15-20 minutes drive away. There are plenty of places to explore for the cyclists/runners/hikers out there. We are already looking to book again for next year.
