Tregarden

Tregarden is a castle-style property sleeping 13 across four bedrooms and three bathrooms, set near Bodmin in North Cornwall. The whole place is yours alone. Everything essential comes with it: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered, so you arrive to a ready home rather than a list of things to sort.

Bedrooms are split across two levels. The ground floor holds a kingsize with ensuite shower, another kingsize with a z-bed, a double, and a bunk and double combination in the fourth room. Upstairs, a fifth bedroom with two singles and its own double shower adds extra sleeping space. Three separate bathrooms mean mornings run smoothly. The open-plan living area—kitchen, dining space and sitting room on the first floor—has a woodburner and smart TV. A snug with sofa bed offers another retreat. The kitchen is fully fitted for cooking: electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Outside, there's parking for five cars, an electric vehicle charging point, back garden with furniture and a barbecue.

The location suits families and groups wanting a substantial base. One guest has noted the views across the bay from the upper floors. Widemouth Bay and the surrounding coastline are near by. No smoking is the house rule, and one pet is welcome.
