Westaway Cottage
Cornwall
Families and larger groups will find Westaway Cottage works well as a self-contained base. The property has three bedrooms—a king double, a twin, and a bunk room—plus one bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower. Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen and dining space is fully equipped for cooking, with a separate living room that has an open fire for cooler months. A utility room with washing machine and dryer handles laundry without needing to leave the property.
The back garden is enclosed and lawned, with a patio area, furniture and a barbecue. Off-street parking fits two cars. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; gas central heating and coal for the fires are provided. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The cottage does not permit smoking.
Charlestown is a working fishing port between St Austell and Carlyon Bay on the southeast coast. The harbour, two nearby beaches and local restaurants are within walking distance. This part of Cornwall has a strong connection to the Poldark television series, and the Eden Project is within reasonable reach for a day out.
