Heron’s Nest

Heron's Nest is a one-bedroom first-floor apartment in the Cotswolds, sleeping two. Everything you need for a self-catering break is here: a kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and full-sized fridge; a double bedroom; and a shower room. The open-plan living space has doors opening onto a balcony. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, and your first dog stays free. Gas central heating keeps things warm. There is private parking for one car on site.

The grounds include a shared sitting area, though there is an unfenced lake 50 yards away, so do bear that in mind. A pub and restaurant are within a mile's walk. The apartment is non-smoking. The wider Cotswolds is easily explored from here—villages by car, Cheltenham within 30 minutes, Oxford in under an hour—but if you prefer to stay put, there is enough to hand to make a quiet break work perfectly well.
