About Novotel Coventry M6 J3
Coventry sits at a useful crossing point for the motorway network, and Novotel Coventry M6 J3 makes the most of that position on Wilsons Lane, close to junction 3, for anyone passing through on business or heading into the city itself. With 98 rooms it has the scale to handle both overnight stopovers and longer stays, including family rooms and accessible options, plus air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms throughout.
Rooms are well kept and the showers get particular praise, while breakfast offers a good spread of choices to set guests up for the day. There's a restaurant and bar on site, a snack bar for something lighter, and drinks available in room, alongside a gym, meeting rooms, concierge services and 24 hour reception. It's worth knowing that carpets in some areas have been reported as tired, and the Wi-Fi doesn't always hold up, so those needing a solid connection should plan accordingly.
Beyond the hotel, guests can find golf and fishing nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and other entertainment within easy reach, making it a workable base whether the visit is for meetings, motorway convenience, or exploring Coventry itself. Pets are welcome too, which adds flexibility for travellers on the road.
What guests say
Stayed with work, seen this a lot since COVID, can imagine it costs a fortune to keep up with all the coats of running a place like this but it does need at least a really good clean or a refit of carpets, especially in the stair well. My room was fine but there were no coat hangers and there was no remote, sorted the former but the remote I was brought didn't work & honestly I've never experienced odd things missing, smells of understaffed & overworked. Apart from that, the staff couldn't do enough, breakfast was good & the dining room had a really relaxed vibe which you don't always find. Had one meal there, sat outside, the food was lovely and again the staff were very helpful. Considering how much hospitality missed out, it is a bit heartbreaking to see hotels like these struggling.

We stayed here for 1 night as a family of 4. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room did need some upgrading, but the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, there was a nice variety of things available, but 1 coffee machine isnt really enough for a hotel of that size. There were toys and games available for the children to play with, which is a nice touch.

This hotel was claimed as 4-star hotel but there is no refrigerator provided. Only shampoo but no conditioner provided. Glass is still stained with toothpaste. The room is connected with another room and I can hear clearly what the next door's talking, very disturbing especially after 11 pm. Phone is not working and unable to connect to the frontdesk. The room is actual 1-star hotel. It is the worst hotel I've ever stayed with this branch.
