What visitors say
We found Broughton Sands Campsite by pure chance while walking the South West Coast Path and, after a long, hot day's hiking, it was the perfect place to stop! The pitches are beautifully kept, and although it's a small site, it has absolutely everything you need & more! The showers were AMAZING! ; properly hot, with no annoying push buttons & the hugely appreciated little extras like complimentary tea and coffee, phone charging & a freezer! The book swap was also a lovely touch. The best part, though, were the owners. They were so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home....so, so grateful, when we arrived feeling broken! Without doubt, this is quite possibily the best campsites we've stayed at. We'd highly recommend it to anyone......especially if you're walking the South West Coast Path (it's an 8 minute walk when you get to Braunton!!) 😊

Just returned from an impromptu stop at Braunton Sands Campsite. We've visited a few times previously and were upset to hear that Alan had sold the site due to ill health. However we were pleased to receive a friendly greeting from James the new owner who we found to be just as hospitable and keen to help as Alan had been. We love the site as there are nice eateries within a short walk also takeaways and small independent shops. There are buses from Braunton to take you to the beaches, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple. You can also pick up the Tarka trail a few minutes from the site. Looking forward to returning soon 😀
