Everything is ready to use at Bailey Mill - The Store. Electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The whole property is yours alone, spread across the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining space with a Freeview TV, three bedrooms (two doubles and one with bunks plus a single bed), and a shower room. There's parking for three cars on site, and one well-behaved pet can stay free.

The cottage stands in rural countryside near the English-Scottish border, between Longtown and Newcastleton in Cumberland. A garden and patio look out over open fields. The nearest pub is less than a mile away. Walking and cycling routes thread through the surrounding landscape, and Kielder Forest Park lies within reach for outdoor activities including hiking and birdwatching. No smoking inside the property.

I wasn't there for pleasure i was there to do some work at bailey Mill but for the time i was there its peaceful and lovely surroundings just make sure you got food and what ever you need because the nearest shop is roughly about ½hr away nice drive but a bit of a trek. Other than the shops its a lovely place to stay

We spent Christmas 2024 here with extended family and two dogs. I cannot fault the hosts at all, nothing was too much trouble - even on Christmas Day they responded to a query we had about the hot tub almost immediately! The accommodation itself is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from an array of kitchen utensils to a never ending supply of black bin bags, kitchen roll and tea/coffee. The location is stunning and perfect for families and, of course, our furry friends! Would highly recommend Bailey Mill Holidays - we all loved it :-)

We had a big family gathering here for a long weekend. Accommodation had everything we needed. Hosts went above and beyond for us including providing a BBQ for us to cook on on one night. Not a lot to do in the surroundings area but we just wanted a family quiet get-together and this place was perfect.

I stayed here with 16 others for the weekend as we were all attending the same wedding. The location is stunning, the accommodation was spotless and ideal for what we needed. Everything we could need was there. We used the bar/restaurant for breakfast each morning, the hosts were attentive and welcoming and the food was fantastic, perfect poached eggs. We've all said we would go back for a holiday.
