Brown Dyke Stables is a converted barn on a working farm just outside the city, set back down a private lane where the pace is noticeably quieter. The owners live adjacent to the property, and the whole place is yours alone to use.

The accommodation spreads across two floors with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and sleeping space for six. Ground-floor bedrooms each have an ensuite wet room; one opens to the garden through French doors. The kitchen is fully fitted for cooking, the sitting room has a wood-burning stove, and there's a separate dining area. Upstairs holds a third bedroom with twin beds and another ensuite. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard. A hot tub is available by arrangement. The garden is small and enclosed, with patio seating and a barbecue.

One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost. The property has parking for three cars on site. Brampton market town is five miles away; a pub sits one and a half miles off, and restaurants are two and a half miles distant. Non-smokers only.
