Forest Retreat is a detached mobile home in quiet Cumbrian countryside near Cockermouth, sleeping four across two bedrooms. Everything you need is already here: electricity, gas heating, bed linen and towels are included, so you arrive to a ready-made base rather than a bare rental. The kitchen has a gas oven, hob, microwave and fridge-freezer, allowing you to cook proper meals or keep things simple. A wood-burning stove sits at the centre of the living space, which opens into the dining area on a single ground floor—no stairs to navigate with luggage or tired children.

Bedrooms comprise a double and two singles, with an ensuite cloakroom off the main bedroom and a shower room with cubicle serving the second room. Outside, decking wraps around the property, giving you somewhere to sit with coffee in the morning or eat supper as the light fades. The on-site parking fits two cars. The property is non-smoking, and one well-behaved dog is welcome to stay. Cockermouth and Keswick are both within reach for shopping, food and the cultural attractions of the area, while the wider Lake District offers walking routes and outdoor activities at every level. In winter the heating keeps things warm; in summer the decking becomes an extension of your living space.
