Cockermouth and its surrounding hills form the backdrop to Forest View Holiday Park, where Forrest Lodge sits as a standalone property with direct access to the Cumbrian countryside. The area puts you within reach of Threapland Park and the broader Lake District landscape, with good walking country on the doorstep.
The lodge is laid out on one floor across two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a king bed with an ensuite; the second has two single beds served by a separate shower room. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen space is the heart of the place, with French doors opening onto a decked area and garden where you can sit outside. The kitchen is fitted for cooking, and essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. One dog is welcome to stay at no extra cost.

This is a lovely caravan park, neat & tidy all around. Stunning views.. The lady who showed us around was very nice & answered all our question. The prices on this park with all the amenities are really great. You can buy a caravan and live there all year if you want to or rent it out. Most people on this park are Adults but some caravan owners do have children visiting . No problem with noise and as I said the views of the Mountains are amazing. Next door you have a really nice coffee shop in the carpark of the garden centre both are great to visit.

Beautiful scenery and so quiet. We stayed with our disabled children for a weekend and had a really relaxing time. The park was beautifully clean and maintained. They had a place to take dogs that is a secure area which is an amazing addition. Theirs a garden centre next door and isn’t far from a number of shops such as Asda for essentials. We recommend here and will return.
