Cumberland

The Western Lake District spreads out around Knock Murton Lodge. Five miles from Loweswater, with views across open countryside, this timber-built property sits where fell walking and quieter exploration both begin at the gate. Ennerdale is similarly close by.
The lodge is all on one level, with ramp access to the entrance. It centres on an open-plan living space warmed by a woodburner, with a separate kitchen that has everything for cooking—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. One bedroom holds a double bed; the other has bunk beds. A single bathroom serves both. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; logs for the woodburner are supplied at the start of your stay. Sleeping up to four, it suits couples or small families.
Outside, a lawned garden with patio includes a gas barbecue and open fireplace. The hot tub seats six, and there is a private sauna with shower and toilet. Parking for two cars is on site. No smoking inside. Steps down to the garden have a ramp alongside.
