Greenrigg Cottage
Cumberland
Greenrigg Cottage sits on the Caldbeck Fells, high enough that walks onto open moorland start at the gate and quiet roads are close by for cycling. The village of Caldbeck, three miles away, has a pub, café and shop; Keswick with its wider range of facilities is fifteen miles south. The cottage itself is a former farmhouse, positioned next to the owner's house on a secluded stretch of fellside.
Inside there are three bedrooms—one with a double bed, two with singles—and two bathrooms, making it suitable for a family or two couples. The ground floor has a living room with woodburner and Smart TV, plus a kitchen/dining room equipped to cook from scratch, with dishwasher and washing machine included. An enclosed lawned garden with patio and picnic bench provides outdoor space, and there is parking for four cars on site. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered in the rent, along with logs for the fire. One well-behaved pet stays free. The cottage does not permit smoking.
