Grooms Room

Grooms Room is a self-contained first-floor apartment converted from a Victorian coach house on the grounds of Dale Head Hall. Everything you need for a break is here: a kitchen with electric cooker and full-size fridge, a living area with TV and dining space, and a bedroom with a four-poster double bed. The shower room is equally straightforward. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels come as standard, and there is ample parking on site.

The apartment sits within extensive gardens that include a shared drying room. A terrace with garden furniture overlooks the grounds, and you have access to the wider gardens with views towards Thirlmere. The location puts you within walking distance of the lake shore, and serious hikers use it as a starting point for routes up Helvellyn. Keswick market town is five miles away. A pub operates within a mile. The water supply is from a borehole, and there is a reservoir 55 yards from the building. No smoking inside the property.
