High Mains

Cockermouth is a ten-minute drive away, Keswick about twenty-five minutes further, and the quieter valleys of Loweswater and Buttermere within easy reach. High Mains sits on a working farm, giving you countryside on the doorstep while keeping market towns and fell walks close at hand.

The property sleeps eight across four bedrooms: two with king-size beds, one double and one twin. Three bathrooms serve the house—one ensuite to a ground-floor bedroom. The main living space combines kitchen and dining room with an open fire, smart television and views across the farm. A separate living room offers further space to spread out. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; the kitchen is equipped for cooking from scratch, with a dishwasher to ease the load afterwards. An external games room has table football and board games, and the large, fenced garden includes a terrace and seating areas.

One dog can stay free of charge. The property is non-smoking. There are four steps down into the garden, and parking for four cars is on site. You have the whole place to yourself.
