Pheasant Cottage comes fully equipped for self-catering. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob and microwave; the open-plan living space includes a Smart TV and electric fire. Essentials like Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered. Two bedrooms sleep four—one with a double bed, one with bunks—and there's a shower room. A travel cot and highchair are available if you ask ahead. The cottage sits on ground level throughout.

The property occupies a quiet spot in Dalston village, within the Caldbeck Fells area. You get private parking for one car and a courtyard with garden furniture for sitting out. A pub and restaurant are half a mile away on foot. Carlisle is five miles south; Keswick and the Lake District National Park are a short drive. The cottage is non-smoking.
