This barn conversion sits on a working farm in the northern reaches of the Lake District, with uninterrupted views across farmland towards the fell slopes. The two-bedroom property sleeps four: a double bedroom and a twin, with one bathroom. Downstairs is an open-plan living space with a wood burner, dining area, and kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, as is the initial fuel for the stove. Wifi is also included.
The property comes with an enclosed garden (shared with one adjacent cottage), and parking for two cars on site. One dog stays free. The location works well for families wanting to explore the northern Lake District – Keswick and its lakes are 15 minutes' drive, Cockermouth is 14 miles away, and on the farm itself children can help feed lambs or sit on a tractor with the owner. The nearest shops are 2.5 miles off, with a pub and restaurant 2 miles away. Caldbeck village, known locally as Back o' Skiddaw and home to various craft shops and cafés, is close by. The whole property is yours alone; no smoking is permitted inside.
