The Milking Parlour

Cumberland

View on Google Maps

You arrive at a single storey converted milking parlour on the outskirts of St Bees, a village on the West Cumbrian coast. The whole property is yours alone—ground floor throughout, which means no stairs to navigate. Everything spreads across one level: living room with television, kitchen with breakfast area and dishwasher, a bedroom with a kingsize bed and the second television, and a shower room with heated towel rail.

The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard. Parking for one car sits on site. A utility room contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, though this is shared with other properties. The property does not permit smoking. Dogs are welcome, and a travel cot or highchair can be arranged on request.

St Bees sits within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The nearest pub is a few minutes' walk away; a shop lies 160 yards down the road and the beach roughly three-quarters of a mile. The village has restaurants and pubs within easy reach, and the Northumberland coast offers walking, cycling and coastal scenery.
