Keswick's narrow streets converge on independent shops, outdoor retailers and independent eateries within a few minutes' walk of The Old Stable. A pub sits closer still, just over half a mile away. The town itself sits at the northern tip of Derwentwater, with fell walks and cycling routes radiating outward; this location trades mountain silence for town-centre convenience, which suits anyone who wants to explore on foot without the drive.
The property is a converted stable accessed down a small lane, with a ground floor that holds the kitchen and shower room. Upstairs, a single open-plan room combines sleeping and living space, furnished around a double bed and a smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a washer-dryer. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wi-fi are all provided. A parking permit for the public car park is included. The stairs to the first floor have a low beam, and the property does not permit smoking.
It sleeps two and is yours alone for the duration of your stay.
