Dianne qas a wonderful host, allowing us to use the lounge area prior to the official check-in time. It was wonderful to relax, out of the heat after a long hot walk. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet style with both hot and cold choices. There was some noise from the road but we still managed a good night's sleep.

I am on a bike tour of Hadrian's Wall and arrived here wet and cold to a lovely welcome and complete hospitality genius - greeted by my name - shoes by the fire to dry out - made to feel "at home" - great breakfast - top marks all round

The Scotch Arms Mews is a wonderful place to stay. You feel immediately very welcomed by Dianne and her family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the lounge with honesty bar was a great place to relax. Dianne also can help with dinner bookings, taxis and other public transport recommendations for those walking the Wall. An added bonus was the guest laundry.

Stayed here one night while cycling Hadrian's Wall. This has a secure covered bike store and is on the route so very convenient. We were upgraded to one of the appartments which was finished to a very high standard and had outdoor seating plus had everything you needed in the kitchen and was very quiet. There was a great selection for breakfast and they catered well for vegetarians.
