Garth House is a self-contained cottage sleeping four in two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It suits couples after a relaxing break or families wanting space and comfort without the fuss of a larger property. The ground floor is open-plan, combining living, dining and kitchen areas with a wood-burning stove and Smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, wine cooler and all the basics included. Upstairs, both bedrooms have super king-size beds (the second can be split into two singles on request) with en-suite showers and heated towel rails.

What sets this place apart is the outdoor experience. You have sole use of a private hot tub for four, and a heated indoor swimming pool available for one hour per day (pre-booked with the owner). A courtyard garden with seating and a charcoal barbecue overlooks the grounds. Parking for four cars is provided on the property. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; the cottage has air-source heat pump central heating so you're warm year-round. The property is in Brampton, a market town in the heart of Cumberland, with the Pennine hills nearby. No smoking is permitted, and children under four cannot use the pool.
