Walla Crag is a three-bedroom apartment on the edge of Keswick, sleeping five across two floors. The property is self-contained and yours alone, with everything needed for a self-catering break already in place: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all covered. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than heating ready meals, with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge-freezer, plus a washer-dryer for longer stays.

The first floor holds a living room with a television, plus a single bedroom and the main bathroom with a bath and shower. Upstairs are two further bedrooms—one double and one with twin singles—and a second bathroom with a walk-in shower. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails. The sash windows frame views out across Keswick's rooftops towards the surrounding fells. A pub and restaurants are within half a mile on foot; a shop is a quarter-mile away. The town centre is a short walk, where you'll find outdoor retailers, cafés and the Theatre By The Lake.

The location works well for walking holidays in the north Lake District. Derwent Water is nearby for boat trips and water-based activities; fell walking ranges from gentle to challenging. Please note the twin bedroom has a lower ceiling and the stair bannister is slightly lower than standard. Smoking is not permitted.

Good, not too demanding walk up Walla Crag. Great for beginners, nothing too technical on the way. Stunning views when you get to the top.
