Lovely clean campsite. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. We had pizzas delivered to our pitch which were very nice. The hot tub pitch with private decking area was fab. Gorgeous views. We had a peaceful stay and will definitely return.

This was our first trip camping with our kids and we absolutely loved it. The facilities at the site were great and all kept to a very good standard. They were very clean and we really enjoyed the added bonus of a fridge and freezer to store food and drink. We also liked that we could rent a fire pit and have a fire both nights to toast marshmallows with the kids. The little shop on site is great and well stocked with any essentials you may have forgotten. The site is a great base for exploring the local area. We drove down to Ullswater and spent the day exploring the waterfall and lake and also stopped at Pooley Bridge and Penrith. The site is big but never felt too busy or crowded. A lovely couple of days spent exploring a beautiful part of the country with the added bonus of some great weather!

Excellent site to visit if you like Cumbria. Really well run site and is excellently maintained. Varied selection of pitches from camping to full cottages (and everything in between) The facilities are first class, very spacious toilet / washing / shower facilities. Nice and quiet location but still easy to get to by road. Second visit here and will definitely be coming back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lovely camping experience! We stayed on an electric tent pitch and had a fantastic time. The campsite was peaceful, calm, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless, which was really impressive. A special mention for the thoughtful extras — having a dishwasher and hand wash facilities available was a brilliant touch and not something every campsite provides. A small tip for future visitors: make sure you bring your groceries with you before arriving, as the nearest supermarkets are around 20–30 minutes away. Planning ahead will make your stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a well-maintained, peaceful campsite with excellent facilities. We would definitely recommend it!
