West View

West View is a detached house in Castle Carrock, a village in north-eastern Cumberland on the edge of the North Pennines. You arrive at ground level: straight into a living room with a woodburner and smart TV, leading through to a kitchen and dining area with full appliances and patio doors onto decking. There's also a utility room with a washing machine, a separate cinema room with a 55-inch screen, and a toilet on this floor. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a kingsize with ensuite shower, a double, and two singles—plus a family bathroom with a heated towel rail.

The enclosed lawned garden has a three-hole putting green, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking is available for two cars. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included, along with initial logs for the woodburner. The property sleeps six and has one and a half bathrooms. No smoking throughout.

The village pub is just over a minute's walk away. Castle Carrock hosts Music on the Marr festival each July. Brampton, a larger town with more shops and amenities, is four miles away.
