Revita

Cumberland's west coast puts you within reach of both sandy beaches and Lake District fells. Revita is a three-bedroom house near Egremont, designed for six people with everything on a single level. Two bedrooms have king-size beds—one with its own ensuite—and the third has a double bed; a second bathroom serves the rest of the house. The living room opens onto a garden split between lawn and patio, with parking for two cars on site. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.

This layout suits families or groups who want space without stairs. Seascale beach is 20 minutes' drive away; Muncaster Castle, a 13th-century fortress overlooking Eskdale, is about half an hour. Ravenglass and its miniature railway, which climbs into the hills, is also nearby. Locally, Egremont has shops, pubs and takeaways. The property is non-smoking.
