Channel View Guest House

Our second stay and loved every minute. Lucy the hostess is lovely and welcomes her guests whether human or dog. The breakfasts are fantastic, as you sit looking at the beautiful view. The location is beautiful with stunning walks on your doorstep. Dartmouth and Brixham are a short drive away. There a restaurants/pubs within easy reach fire the evening. We loved our time here and our dog would say she had an absolutely pawsome tone!

Brilliant Bed and Breakfast overlooking the English Channel. The very lovely Lucy runs this place, breakfasts served fresh hot and tasty, room facilities include en suite, tea tray, hairdryer, but if you need anything just ask. Been coming here for good few years now and never tire of it.. absolutely love this place. Free parking on site. Stoke Fleming is close to Blackpool Sands which is (sadly) a dog free sandy beach. Plenty of coastal walks, Lucy also has an enclosed field for private hire if you want your dog to have a run around in what is, a safe field, the views are amazing!! There is a great pub round the corner serving food till around 8, corner shop, church and friendly neighbours!! Dartmouth around 6 miles away which is beautiful. Local Sainsbury's and Lidl within 10 min drive. Very happily highly recommended..

Wonderful stay and plenty of welcome by Lucy the entire weekend. Stayed for 2 nights in room number 4 which had a fantastic sea view and great windows (sorry, had to get that one in). The spotless room was spacious had an en-suite with fresh towels and toiletries. The room also had a mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities with a special touch of chocolate biscuits too. Great breakfast each morning served between 8-9am by Lucy. The guest house is located in a fantastic location within walking distance of two lovely pubs. Blackpool sands beach is well worth a visit (no dogs at certain times of the year) but other beaches are short drive away allow dogs I believe. We hope to return soon. Lucy is a fabulous hostess, very welcoming and friendly. Her B&B ‘Channel View’ is a delightful property overlooking an exceptionally scenic stretch of the SW Devon coastline, of which we enjoyed glorious views from our double en suite room, which was immaculately presented and very well appointed. Freshly prepared breakfasts cooked to order set us up well for the day. Lucy really has gone the extra mile in providing for guests’ needs. Both the dining room and adjoining conservatory with fridge and microwave, along with outdoor seating areas can be accessed by guests throughout their stay. She has also put together a very helpful guide/app about facilities at the B&B and everything you might want to know about the surrounding area. The location is very convenient, being so close to Stoke Fleming village with great places to eat out and easy access to the SW Coastal path, Dartmouth and beautiful beaches like Blackpool Sands within walking distance. There is ample parking at the property and a coastal bus service with stops just metres away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend and hope to return soon.Thank you Lucy!
