Oak Cottage is a converted 19th-century barn on the outskirts of Llangollen, fitted out for comfort from the start. The open-plan living space has underfloor heating, a fireplace, sofas and a dining table, plus a kitchen with everything needed to cook properly—oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and full-sized fridge. Wifi and bed linen are included, and you arrive to find towels ready and a welcome pack of local treats.
Upstairs are two bedrooms: a double with exposed beams and dual-aspect views across the Dee Valley, and a twin also looking out towards the valley and mountains. Both have stair gates fitted for safety. Downstairs, you have a private courtyard and access to a fenced paddock area—useful space if you're travelling with a dog, which can stay at no extra cost. One well-behaved dog is welcome, though the property is surrounded by working farms, so dogs need to stay on a lead when out exploring. A pub is within a mile for evenings out. The location suits people after a countryside base within reach of Llangollen itself, whether that's for walks, the town's shops and restaurants, or exploring further into Denbighshire.
