Fuchsia Lodge

Fuchsia Lodge is a new three-bedroom property within Mercia Marina in South Derbyshire, sleeping up to six people. Everything is on ground level: an open-plan living and dining area with a smart TV and electric fire, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer-dryer, a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower, two further bedrooms (one double, one twin), and a family bathroom with shower over the bath. Five steps lead to the entrance; within the garden itself there are also five steps to be aware of, and an unfenced lake borders the property.

The draw here is the private hot tub in the enclosed back garden, which seats six. There's also a firepit, garden furniture and a sitting area for outdoor time. A welcome pack, bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included. Two cars can park on the private drive, and there's a bike store. The marina itself is a working waterway with boat activity and facilities nearby, though the lodge offers genuine peace and seclusion with its garden and hot tub. Smoking is not permitted. One dog is welcome at no extra cost, and the property can provide a travel cot and highchair if needed.
