Lilac Tree Lodge

Lilac Tree Lodge is a contemporary lodge built on the shores of Mercia Marina near Willington, designed as a single-storey property where everything happens at ground level. Three steps lead to the entrance. Inside, an open-plan living space combines a sitting area, dining zone and kitchen, with direct access through French doors onto a wraparound veranda. The veranda is the property's signature feature: it wraps around the lodge, includes garden furniture for outdoor entertaining, and extends to a private jetty where you can sit by the water. A wood-effect electric fire in the living room offsets cooler evenings, and there is a smart TV for downtime.

Three bedrooms sleep six guests. The main bedroom has a king bed with an en-suite shower cubicle. The second bedroom is a zip-and-link king (or two singles if you request it). The third has two single beds. A family bathroom with a bath and shower over serves the other bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking: electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included in your stay. The property provides parking for two cars on site and sits within a wider marina complex with shared children's play facilities nearby. No smoking is permitted indoors. Note that the grounds contain an unfenced pond and there are steps in the garden.
