Buttercup Down is a stone cottage within Haddon Grove Farm, a hamlet of converted buildings on the edge of Lathkill Dale, deep in the Peak District. Bakewell is five minutes' drive away. The cottage sleeps four across a kingsize bedroom and a twin room, with one bathroom combining bath and shower. Downstairs is open-plan living and dining space with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and full-sized fridge. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and wi-fi are included.
What makes a stay here different is the heated indoor swimming pool, open from 8am to 10pm and shared with other guests on the farm. There's also a games room, children's play area, and a patio with garden furniture. Two cars can park on site. The farm's reception team help with planning activities around the Peak District, or you can stay put and use the facilities. An interconnecting door links Buttercup Down to the neighbouring Dandelion cottage, allowing both to be booked together for larger groups. Smoking is not permitted. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

What guests say
Had a fabulous weeks stay here in one of the warm cosy cottages, & to have a lovely heated indoor pool and a games room on site was such a treat. The cottages were beautiful too, lots of walks locally and nearby villages for pubs and little shops. would definitely book again if in the area 👌🏻🥰
