The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is a characterful stone building at Haddon Grove Farm Cottages, a cluster of historic rural properties deep in the Peak District. Five bedrooms and three bathrooms make it suitable for larger groups: two have ensuite showers, and beds range from zip-and-link doubles to singles. The ground floor centres on a kitchen with full cooking facilities and a separate dining room, plus a sitting room with a woodburner (initial logs included). All the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—come as standard.

The property sits on a shared site with a heated indoor swimming pool (open 8am to 10pm), games room and children's play area, though these facilities are shared with other holiday cottages. You have your own garden with patio and seating, and private parking for five cars. Bakewell, the town famous for its puddings, is a five-minute drive away; Lathkill Dale Nature Reserve and the wider Peak District are on the doorstep. The Farmhouse works well for family reunions, group holidays or celebrating occasions with friends. Smoking is not permitted.
