Dawn Cottage is a converted barn on a family-run farm within the Peak District National Park, between Ashbourne and Buxton. You arrive into a generous open-plan ground floor: sitting area with woodburner, dining space, and kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a kingsize, a double, and a twin—served by one bathroom with bath and shower. The property sleeps six and is yours entirely; one dog can stay free, though the farm is working livestock land so pets need to stay on a lead.
Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with wifi and parking for several cars. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer, a wood burner with fuel included, and outside space with garden furniture. Families with young children will find a cot, highchair and stairgate on hand. The cottage sits on a gentle slope overlooking the Dove valley and open countryside stretching towards Tissington Trail. Walks and cycle routes begin practically from the door, following the river and surrounding hills; a pub is within a mile. No smoking throughout.
