Tom Boys Cottage

The River Dove and its valley are on your doorstep, along with farm trails across the surrounding grounds where you might spot buzzards and hares. Hartington village, a short walk away, has pubs and cafes. The Tissington Trail cycle route is four miles off; Carsington Water, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are all within easy driving distance. Buxton, with its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, is a short drive too.

Tom Boys Cottage has two bedrooms—one double, one with two singles—and a bathroom with bath and shower. The ground floor opens into a living space with a kitchen where you can cook proper meals, a dining area and a sitting room with TV and Freesat. Bed linen, Wi-Fi and heating are included. There is parking on site and a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. A grassed, wooded area leads to a wildlife pond on the grounds. One pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.

The cottage sleeps four and is yours alone. It suits couples, families and groups wanting a base for walking, cycling or simply being close to the countryside. The Peak District National Park is within reach for longer explorations.
