The Old Dairy Farm
Staffordshire Moorlands
Alstonefield sits in the rural heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands, with the Peak District's walking routes, cycle trails and reservoirs within easy reach. The Old Dairy Farm is a converted cottage sleeping five across three bedrooms and three bathrooms. One bedroom has an ensuite, while the other two share a family bathroom; there's also a ground-floor toilet. The layout centres on a large entrance hall, with a fully-fitted kitchen leading through to a dining room under wooden beams, and a separate lounge with TV and Wi-Fi for quieter evenings.
Electricity, bed linen and towels are included in your stay. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals rather than relying on takeaways. A pub sits within a mile, and Alstonefield itself has independent shops and a market. The Peak District National Park surrounds the area—Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Alton Towers are all within 30 minutes by car, while Castleton's underground caverns are a little further. Two cycle trails pass a couple of miles away, and several National Routes run through the region. No smoking is permitted inside the property.
