You arrive at Harthill Barn to find yourself in a games room on the ground floor—billiards table, table tennis, television—with the rest of the accommodation spread across the first floor. This is a whole property rental, sleeping 14 across six bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. Four of the bedrooms feature zip-and-link beds that can be configured as doubles or singles, two have permanent doubles, and one has bunk beds for children. All come with televisions. The first floor also holds the living spaces: a combined kitchen and dining area equipped for cooking and entertaining, plus a sitting room where everyone can gather.

The grounds stretch across 14 acres on Priest's Hill, with a children's play area, landscaped gardens, and direct access to walking routes. The property has a private hot tub on an enclosed patio (available 8am to 10pm), and the wider facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool measuring 23ft 6in by 11ft 6in. There is a sauna and solarium (adults only, coin-operated). Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking is permitted. The barn sits near Harthill Hall, a historic structure with Domesday Book origins, three and a half miles from Bakewell in the Peak District.
