Meadows Huts - Forget-Me-Not
Derbyshire Dales
View on Google MapsForget-Me-Not is a shepherd's hut built to a high standard, set just outside the village of Parwich in the Derbyshire Dales. Everything sits at ground level: an open-plan living space with two double beds and a dining area, a compact kitchen with electric oven and hob, and a shower room. The hut accommodates four people and comes with electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi included. One dog stays free. An enclosed garden with seating and a firepit looks over the fields; parking for two cars is on site.
This part of the Peak District suits anyone who wants to walk or cycle. The High Peak trail and Tissington trail are both within three miles. Dovedale is nearby, along with countless footpaths through limestone countryside. Carsington reservoir offers water sports a short drive away, and Alton Towers is twenty minutes' drive if the group includes families after something more energetic. Parwich itself is quiet; Ashbourne, the nearest town, is five miles away. The firepit and garden furniture make an evening outdoors straightforward whether you're cooking in the hut or heading to the local pub.
