Parwich sits in the heart of the Peak District, a village centred on its green and pond with easy reach of walking country. The Old Damson Tree Barn is a converted stone building here, one bedroom and one bathroom, sleeping two people. Everything is on the ground floor: a living space with exposed beams and a wood burner (logs included), a kitchen fitted for proper cooking, and a bedroom with a double bed and ensuite shower room. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and Wi-Fi is provided.
The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. Outside, an enclosed garden with seating lets you sit out and watch village life pass by. There is parking for one car on site. The property is non-smoking.
Parwich itself has the Sycamore Inn. The High Peak and Tissington Trails are nearby for walkers, along with Dovedale and Carsington Water. From here you can reach Ashbourne, Leek, the villages of Ilam and Alstonefield, Chatsworth House, and Kedleston Hall – all within 10 to 35 minutes' drive.
