Bakewell sits at the edge of the Peak District, where rolling moorland and walking routes begin practically at the doorstep. Seaside Lodge Retreat is a stone cottage a short walk from the town centre, positioned between market-day bustle and countryside quiet. The whole place is yours alone, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms sleeping up to six.

Upstairs are the bedrooms: two doubles and a twin. Downstairs, the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than holiday shortcuts. The living room has comfortable seating for evenings in, and a roll-top bath in one bathroom makes a genuine draw after time outdoors. Beyond the house, a private walled garden gives you outdoor space without leaving the property. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; you arrive after 4pm and depart by 10am. Smoking is not permitted.

A pub sits within a mile. Bakewell's shops, cafes and food stalls are walkable. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are short drives away. The Peak District's trails for walking and cycling spread across the landscape in every direction. The Seashells attraction is nearby for those wanting structured activity rather than landscape alone.
