Spring Cottage

Spring Cottage is a converted barn near Ashbourne, built to work as a family home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms across ground and first floors. It sleeps six people and sits on the owners' working farm, a mile from the village with its shop and pub. The property is yours alone, with private parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with terrace.

Downstairs holds the living room, kitchen and dining space, plus a utility room and one bedroom with a pull-out single (suitable for children) alongside a standard single. The main bathroom is on this level. Upstairs, a double bedroom with its own ensuite and a twin room complete the layout. The kitchen is equipped for cooking and entertaining; an electric woodburner provides warmth alongside oil central heating. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included, and there's a travel cot and highchair if you need them.

Wirksworth—with its restaurants and shops—is three miles away. Carsington Lake, known for water sports and cycling, is the same distance. Local attractions include Heights of Abraham and Gulliver's Kingdom five miles off, Chatsworth ten miles, and Alton Towers twenty. Smoking is not permitted inside.
