Matlock is a Victorian spa town in the heart of the Peak District, built into a limestone gorge above the River Derwent. Tax Farm Certificated Location sits just off the main drag, within easy reach of the town's shops, cafés and attractions. Totally wonderful views on a totally wonderful CL! We can fully recommend this site. It is looked after very well, and the steepish lane down to the pitches is tarmac-surfaced and not a problem. Matlock is two miles down the hill. If you like walking be prepared for a good workout coming back up again! There are other walks nearby, all with beautiful views across the valley.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The views at Tax Farm were even better than we imagined! We were lucky enough that the clouds cleared for the most wonderful sunset and waking up to the view in the morning was absolutely dreamy. Each pitch has water, electricity, and grey-waste disposal, and with only five pitches in total it feels wonderfully peaceful. During our stay only two were occupied, so it was incredibly quiet and relaxing. We didn’t have time to walk into the village, but it’s on our list for next time. Highly recommend this gem of a site for anyone looking for breathtaking scenery and a tranquil escape!

Great views, fully serviced pitches, nice and quiet and also 5G! Joolz and Tim are very friendly and helpful. This is our second time this year and will definitely be back next year

Stayed here in August, stunning setting with lovely views. Curry delivered to our caravan was a new experience but really good. View of a thunder storm on the other side of the valley was spectacular. Very generous size pitches. Loved our stay, we will definitely be coming back!
