What visitors say
We stayed at Packhorse Farm for six nights in our caravan and had a lovely stay. The site was clean, peaceful, and very well maintained. The facilities were excellent, with plenty of hot water at all times. The site is thoughtfully laid out, with a wooded area for tents and the main field divided by hedges into smaller sections, so it never felt like we were packed in. The owners, father and son, were both very welcoming and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. There’s also plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. We especially enjoyed visiting Crich Tramway Village, Masson Mills, and Bakewell. We would definitely recommend Packhorse Farm and would happily stay there again.

One of the nicest sites I've been to. The site itself is great with different sections, very well sheltered. Pitches are a good size and very well maintained. Facilities lovely and clean with hot showers. Well lit at night too for walking to the toilet block. Will definitely be coming back here!!

Brilliant family friendly camp site and reasonably priced pitches. All toilet and shower facilities are keep clean and well equipped, showers are single temperature but its set at a nice temperature. Staff interaction have been lovely with lots of local recommendations and a site map to fine your pitch, and they try to meet any needs and requests. Pitch sizes are very generous and not cramped together. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others.
