About Barringtons
A restaurant and bar sit at the heart of Barringtons, giving guests the option of a proper meal and a drink without leaving the building, alongside a daily breakfast to set up a day exploring Derbyshire. Outdoor seating in the garden makes the most of fine weather, and drinks can be brought straight to the room for those who prefer to relax in private.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and free WiFi, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. A 24 hour reception means arrivals and queries are handled at any time, and free on-site parking takes the hassle out of getting there by car.
Barringtons stands on Station Road in Matlock, within easy reach of the town centre and the surrounding countryside. Walking and cycling routes lie nearby, along with a golf course, plus further pubs, bars and restaurants for those who want to venture out, and entertainment options close at hand for evenings after dinner.
Guests mention the spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms, along with delicious food offerings like roasts, steak and ale pie, and desserts. They also highlight the friendly and attentive staff, reasonable prices, and pleasant atmosphere.
Some reviews mention the bedrooms can be cool.
