Certificated campsite in Marple with showers, near the Derbyshire border.

About Whitecroft Farm Certificated Location

Marple sits on the edge of Derbyshire, where the urban sprawl of Greater Manchester gives way to countryside. Whitecroft Farm Certificated Location occupies this transitional landscape, offering camping within reach of both town amenities and open ground.

The site provides showers for guests. Strines village is just up the road, putting a few local conveniences within walking distance. This is a small certificated site, which means it operates to Camping and Caravanning Club standards but sits outside their network—expect a quieter, more independent operation than a full-scale caravan park.

What visitors say

Charmaine Howard

A stunning site, perfectly located. You have the option of grass or hard standing pitches to choose from. The amenities are well looked after and found at the entrance to the cl. There are little walks close by to enjoy and birds that visit the site. I saw two greater woodpeckers one morning enjoying a meal from one of the crab apple trees about the CL. This site is peaceful and a close drive to many great locations.

Stayed here last night in our Motorhome. First time visiting the area. Really lovely spot. Beautiful surroundings, owners really friendly. Had all the services we needed (no shower or toilet block). Had a great time and would definitely come back. 100% recommend. Went for a walk and found a play park near by too.

Lovely quite, flat pitches with EHU either on grass or hardstanding. Friendly welcome from the lady owner. Nice easy walking/cycling in the area. Very convenient for the train station to Manchester etc.
