What visitors say
We have just spent the week at Brackenhill Glamping and it was fantastic. The lodges have everything you could need and they are super clean and comfortable. The honesty shop was a great addition and kept the kids topped up with treats, logs for the hot tub and fuel for the supplied BBQ. We had a super relaxing time and bonus that there is 2 local pubs within 5 minute walk. Both of which we used and fully enjoyed. Thank you for the great stay, we will surely return.

We booked House Martin as a surprise for my cousin and even though it was late notice Alex was so accommodating and we arranged for some balloons to be put up which were lovely! When we had questions about the hot tub they responded immediately and were very informative. The cabin itself is beyond beautiful the perfect place for a getaway which is exactly what we were after! It was very clean and well organised and there’s some really nice walks and there’s shops near by if you’re cooking or restaurants if you’re eating out! We really enjoyed our stay and felt so safe will definitely be back in the future!! Thank you!

We booked a night getaway following our international abroad wedding wanting something close by and relaxing. Just wow! This cabin was everything we hoped for, a peaceful tranquility, no interruption on views, includes everything you need and more. Private field, spacious, designed to a high spec, modernised with natural nature theme throughout. Truly blissful. We cooked a fine dining meal to enjoy and enjoyed the woodfired tub soaking up the nights sky. We both said how we could easily live in this cabin. Perfect in every way. We'd like to come back and stay longer next time. Thank you guys!

If a holiday home could come close to perfection, Brackenhill might just be it. The setting (the view across the valley and the hills behind, with the church tower at its centre) is stunning; the seclusion (the field is overlooked only by buzzards by day and bats at night) is both calming and deeply affecting; the safari tent itself is an aesthetically beautiful thing, but also practical - spacious, sturdy, comfortable and spotlessly clean; the family who own and run the site are the very best of people, attentive but never intrusive, they genuinely want you to love the place as they do and go the extra mile to make it so. As for practicalities, the facilities in the tent are excellent and there is a wood burner within and fire-pit without; parking is safe, spacious and easy, the honesty shop is a godsend (the village at the bottom of the hill has two pubs but no shop), and Ugborough is perfectly placed between the moors and the sea. We will definitely be coming back, again and again.
