Wadadli Lodge is a contemporary detached house built from local stone and oak, standing in its own grounds near Ivybridge on the edge of Dartmoor. The design is distinctly Scandinavian, with high vaulted ceilings, oak flooring and expanses of glass that bring the garden into view from almost every angle. What sets it apart is the heated outdoor pool, 32ft by 12ft and open from June to September, positioned so that the decked garden, balcony and living spaces all look directly onto it.
The layout gives everyone their own space. Ground floor holds two double bedrooms with en-suite showers and French doors to the garden, plus a third bedroom with twin singles and a full bathroom. Upstairs is an open-plan living area with a dining section and a kitchen equipped for real cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer all there. A washer-dryer handles laundry. WiFi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with oil underfloor heating. There's parking for three cars and space for a travel cot if needed. One dog is welcome.
From here, Dartmoor's open moorland is a short drive north, while the south Devon coast—Mothecombe, Bantham, Bigbury, Wembury—lies about thirty minutes towards the sea. Plymouth city centre is seven miles away. The surrounding countryside suits riding and walking. No smoking inside the property.
