About Caffyns Farm Exmoor Coast Holidays
Caffyns Farm is a family-run working farm sprawling across 160 acres of open and sheltered fields just outside Lynton, with pitches gazing out over the Valley of the Rocks and the coast beyond. It's one of the longer-established camping farms in the area, offering simple, unfussy pitches for tents and campervans rather than a heavily serviced holiday park experience. Campfires are welcome on many pitches—unusual for a site this close to a National Park boundary—and farm animals roam the fields, adding to the genuinely rural character.
Facilities have been refurbished in recent years and now include ample free hot showers, modern toilets with disabled and family changing facilities, and a laundry. The on-site café and bar serve light meals and homemade cider at reasonable prices, and there's a well-stocked shop for supplies. Being a working farm rather than a purpose-built park, Caffyns suits visitors happy to trade some polish for a low-key setting and views that few North Devon campsites can match. Lynton and Lynmouth are both under ten minutes by car.

What visitors say
Location is great, nice views, lots of space. Good cafe and bar on site. They make their own cider. The on site shop is one of the best equipped I’ve seen. Be wary of noisy groups at weekends. We found the lady that booked us in a bit frosty to be honest. Also the toilet / shower facilities are not clean and in desperate need of updating.

I stayed here as a solo female in a small campervan and highly recommend! Every staff member was friendly and happy to help. Lots of options for pitching in different fields, and a sea view! It’s a big site, and didn’t feel busy at all, despite being Easter weekend - the 55mph winds might have put some people off 😂 Good little shop, lovely cafe, and friendly animals. Fantastic hot shower, plenty facilities. Close to some great walks around the North Devon / Exmoor coast. I felt safe and comfortable!

Super friendly and welcoming site with fab views and nice walk to local beach. Great cafe and really well stocked shop. Turn up and pay makes it really easy for a last min break. Nice and cheap too. Will defo be back. (Can get windy, but sheltered by hedges).
