My amazing girlfriend took me to this lovely place to stay for two nights and all I can say is wow… cannot believe how well the owner has restored it also lovely to see they haven’t gone too over board with fitting it with too many mod-cons which gives you an idea what it was like back in day. Still has a shower, fully functional kitchen, pull out bench style double bed and wood burner if needed but honestly not needed in summer. You also have access to two more carriages one for eating with your family and the other being a beautifully restored 1st class dining carriage for a special meal. We had our own chef prepare the most amazing meal for candle light dinner which was just for us! The carriage itself is gorgeous, with all of the original seats and furnishings it is truly out of this world. To sum up we would both definitely recommend staying here again when in the area.

Quaint, idyllic, and rustic. Delightful old railway carriage now a unique place to stay for your holiday, has its own lovely bit of enclosed garden too and the view from the outside table watching the sun go down was pure bliss. Would stay again for sure!

We stayed here for a short break. The camping carriage is beautiful and it's set in a little garden overlooking fields. It's in a very quiet and tranquil position. Marion, our host, is a lovely , helpful and friendly lady. The lovely village of Netherbury can be walked to where you'll find a small church and a pretty stream, sadly there isn't a pub or a little shop so you must drive to the Hare and Hounds which we recommend or go into Beaminster.
