Netherbury village sits between two very different parts of Dorset: the Jurassic Coast and its fossil-rich beaches lie 6 miles south, while Beaminster, a working market town, is just 2½ miles away. The surrounding countryside is farming land and small settlements, quiet enough that a garden and private pool make genuine retreats. Copper Beech is a detached house on the village edge, restored with families and groups in mind.
Four bedrooms—two doubles and two twin rooms—each have their own bathroom, so eight guests do not queue. Downstairs holds the living spaces: a sitting room with a smart TV, a separate kitchen and dining room fitted with the usual appliances, and a utility room with a washer-dryer. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The garden is large and laid to lawn, with patio furniture and space to sprawl. The heated indoor swimming pool (6 metres by 3 metres) sits within the grounds, ready year-round.
The location suits families exploring the Dorset coast—Seatown for walks, Lyme Regis for the Cobb and the seafront, West Bay for its harbour, and the long stretches of Chesil Beach for fossil hunting. Inland, Beaminster and Broadwindsor both have pubs and restaurants. You have parking on site and the whole place to yourselves. No smoking.
