About Oakdene Forest Park

Oakdene Forest Park is a substantial resort-style site with lodges and caravans spread across the grounds, some featuring hot tubs. The scale means you get a full range of on-site amenities—swimming pools, a sauna, gym, bar, restaurant and café—alongside a children's play area and club house. There's a shop on-site too, and the car park is designated, so you know where your vehicle goes.

Pitches are well-maintained and clean. The site caters to families and welcomes pets. A laundry facility and contactless washing machines make longer stays practical. Staff are reported to be helpful and responsive. The real draw beyond the lodges and caravans themselves is the direct access to Hurn Forest for walks, plus the on-site leisure facilities mean you don't need to leave to find things to do. Note that the speed humps throughout the park are notably high.

Awesome 👍 Lovely caravan/mobile home. Great place to stay, lovely grounds. Didn't manage to get to the club house as only stayed 1 night and travelling all day. Will definitely visit again as use this time to visit family & friends. Place had all the things you need and the owner put in a cot for the baby as requested which was lovely. Nice treat of some cookies on arrival which was a very nice/kind gesture.

We loved our time at this park. We found it very clean and peaceful. The swimming pool was well managed so never too busy. The evening entertainment was good fun. The kids enjoyed the arcade and thought the machines were generous. The park has some thoughtful planting and seems well maintained. Walks directly from the site and plenty a short drive away. The actual location itself is mainly dual carriageway with supermarkets, petrol stations etc. so, although convenient for driving, isn't somewhere you would walk around e.g. to a pub or shop- but that's fine if you have a car.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Oakdene Caravan Park and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with any questions we had. The park is extremely dog friendly, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. We were especially impressed with the exceptional dog welcome pack, which was a lovely touch and made our four-legged companion feel just as welcome as we did. There are beautiful forest walks right on the doorstep, perfect for exercising dogs and enjoying the surrounding countryside. Our caravan was very well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into ensuring guests have everything catered for. Overall, Oakdene is a fantastic holiday park with excellent facilities, beautiful surroundings and outstanding customer service. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break, especially for dog owners.

Highly recommend as a nice family getaway! Spacious clean caravans with all facilities needed and if not the restaurant onsite is reasonably priced. Not to mention when we did have a small complaint they dealt with it promptly and highly sufficiently. There is a great pool on site and the evening entertainment was great fun. ☺️
