Ferndown sits between Bournemouth's beaches and the New Forest, making it a practical base for either. Dudsbury Lodge is a single-storey property on the edge of town, with everything on one level: a double bedroom, shower room, and open-plan living space that includes a sofa bed, dining area and kitchen. A garden with seating looks out over the grounds, and parking for one car is on site. One dog is welcome.

The kitchen has a hob, microwave, oven and grill, so you can cook properly rather than rely on takeaways. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and Wi-Fi are all included. There's a pub within walking distance, and Longham Lake is close by if you want to stretch your legs without getting in the car. Bournemouth's seafront is a few miles south; the New Forest's walking and cycling trails are equally near, scattered with villages and country pubs. The property is non-smoking.
