Bookham Court – Little Coombe is a stone cottage in the Dorset countryside outside Dorchester, built to blend into its rural setting. The property is yours alone, set within shared landscaped grounds of about a quarter-acre, with private parking for two vehicles and direct access to a hot tub on the garden terrace.
Inside, the ground floor is one open plan: a living area with woodburner and Freeview television, dining space, and a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a separate toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms – one with a double bed and ensuite bathroom, the other with two single beds (zip-and-link) and ensuite shower – and oil central heating keeps the cottage warm, with logs supplied for the woodburner. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included.
The grounds offer a sitting area with garden furniture and a barbecue. One dog is welcome. The approach suits couples or families after a quiet base within reach of Dorchester's Georgian architecture and the Jurassic Coast's geology and clifftop walks. No smoking inside the property.

Really nice place, beautiful location on a valley hillside with spectacular views of the fields and forests. Nice walks nearby and freindly local places to visit. We stayed in little Coombe with the jaccuzzi and loved it.

Lovely home stay in Great Coombe for 8 of us! Would recommend for a fantastic stay away! Had basics such as washing up liquid, towels and other bits which was nice :) plus a lovely guide book which was good to read when we first arrived!

We stayed in the Crowthorne and can’t fault the barn it was lovely. Only thing to point out is it says secure garden and if you’ve got a small dog like we have then they can get out on to the road and the field. However we’d highly recommend as the barn is such a great space. Family members stayed in the wagon house and again it was lovely. Dad had a go at fishing in the lake but didn’t catch anything. 🤣

If you want a real secluded get away, this is the place. Lovely converted farm buildings, great for families and all ages. Super games room and small pond for the wildlife enthusiasts. Magnificent views of the surrounding countryside from the patio area.
